From 4.10 to 15.10, members of the REFLOW project traveled to Spain for workshops, presentations and visits to sites related to the waste management industry.
Both ESRs and project partners stayed at a hotel in VIC and on the next day, a meeting of all members and guests took place. There were presentations of all ESRs, which showed the progress in research. Later, the laboratory was shown. In the evening, there was a gala dinner at a restaurant in the city center. Lecturers and workshops were held in the last few days. The classes were conducted by people from the University of VIC and from other universities. Following this, workshops were conducted on writing a project and presentation techniques. A visit to the piggery with a sewage treatment plant with filtration had also been planned and we had the opportunity to visit.
A visit to the social farm of La Fageda, where project members present watched the entire process of making milk products. When the weekend came, the members went on a tour of the beautiful city of Barcelona as part of a team-building activity. After returning to the town of VIC, the team did the rest of the planned activities. After the end of the classes, each ESR returned to its research teams or went on trips to other universities.
